It takes a special kind of women to be able to do this. I personally think you and your horse have a great bond. The horse listens to you very well, and that's why you make a great team

She is the biggest person I look up to in my life . I rode a horse her name is Twizler . We competed in dressage . She sadly passed away on 6/1/2020 just one day before my birthday . It was the worst day of my life . So I ride in honer of her . She was my partner , my best friend ,and a huge part of my healing after my mom passed away . So I understand what she is going through

I don’t think that this is good for the horse. Don’t get me wrong, I absolutely support paralympic sports... but when it comes to dressage in case like this, I don’t support it. (To all the people who don’t know a lot about riding: you use 60% weight impact, 30% leg impact and only 10% reign(?) impact to control the horse) She cannot use her legs to show the horse the right direction. And using the weight seems very complicatet, you have to sit straight. So that means that she probably uses a lot of impact on the reigns(?). You can see it around 2:28 . Everytime she ‘‘falls‘‘ backwards the horse opens the mouth- that represents sevre pain and too much impact on the reigns. The reigns are too thight. In addition to this, her hands have to be way more calm. I really support paralymics but not like this. Don’t get me wrong, I am not tranig to hate. Xo

Lea R thank you :) I only read comments like “oh wow so amazing” .... and much more but nobody look at the horse and how much pain he / she I don’t know has.
For everyone don’t get me wrong it’s good to force your dreams even if your ‘normal’ or not but she jumps backwards in the horse
And sorry if I Write something wrong I am from Germany and not perfect in English

I disagree!! YES - his mouth may be open more at that moment BUT 2 things - she even stated that HE does not truly mind (I would think numerous people around and "her" trainers would have done something if he was being harmed) & obviously they were 'matched' due to "their" connection! 2nd - Belgian warm-bloods, from what I have seen, read, & searched out besides seeing numerous competitions, are magnificent horses due to their showmanship, temperament, and their ability to understand & show feelings for their owners & ability to sense what is needed for them to do & when! Sounds a bit more like jealous that "she won" first place and much recognition!
